About COP28
COP28 is the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference, which will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 30 to December 12, 2023. COP stands for Conference of the Parties and has convened member countries every year in different locations to determine climate responsibilities, goals and measures. This year COP marks an important halfway point. The Paris Agreement was signed 7 years ago, setting the goal to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C. This year marks 7 years until the deadline that was set to reduce emissions to curb global temperatures to 1.5C.
If we are to mitigate and adapt to climate change, we need to act now.
Our work at PLANETech World 2023 and at COP28 aims in promoting solutions that will curb temperature rise to 1.5C.
